How effective is EllaOne and is it affected by a vaginal infection?

I had ovulation yesterday (02.10) at the end of the day around 11 p.m. I had intercourse with my partner and unfortunately the rubber band broke, I had ellaone at home and arrived 4 minutes later, how do you think its effectiveness works, should I be afraid? I will also add that a few hours later I had a vaginal infection, does it have any effect?

Taken quickly, the EllaOne tablet is very effective in preventing unwanted pregnancy, but it is not 100% effective. The active ingredient in EllaOne, ulipristal acetate, inhibits or delays ovulation even just before ovulation occurs, but if ovulation has already occurred, it is not effective. However, since it is not possible to determine the exact time of egg release, it is recommended that you take the EllaOne tablet as soon as possible after unprotected sex.

Vaginal infection does not affect the way EllaOne works.
