Is a wet cough a symptom of reflux?

Good morning. A few months ago I took a reflux medication initially dexilant, then mesopral which helped me. As of today, I have a wet cough, I thought that reflux came back but I do not have typical symptoms only the persistent cough itself, can it affect the few months of reflux. I will also add that earlier at reflux I also had a cough but not as strong and intense as now

Coughing can be the result of a wide variety of diseases, including gastrointestinal problems such as reflux. However, reflux is characterized by a dry cough, and now you have a wet cough.

In this situation, I encourage you to make an appointment with the attending physician, who will adjust the treatment according to your current clinical condition, because it is difficult to propose a specific method of treatment based on such a short description.
