Good morning, the doctor prescribed me kalipoz prolongatum 391 at a dose of 1 tablet per day to supplement potassium but after taking 2 tablets my stomach burns. Can I replace it with a supplement be a prescription eg. Doppelherz Aktiv For Cramps in which potassium is 300mg? Will it supplement potassium the same as a prescription drug?

If you have doubts about the dosage or experience side effects after taking Kalipoz Prolongatum, please contact your doctor. If you do not have the possibility of a stationary visit, I encourage you to use teleadvice via, for example, the Gdziepolek.pl portal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja Doppelherz Aktiv Cramps Dietary Supplement will not work in the same way as Kalipoz. The fact that it contains 300mg of potassium in one tablet is not key information. The manufacturer does not specify whether it is the amount of potassium ions or potassium salt. In the case of Kalipoz, a dose of 391 mg means the amount of potassium ions. In addition, Kalipoz is a prolonged-release drug in the prolongation formula. This is also not provided by a dietary supplement.
