How to wean Zoloft?

Hello, I have been taking zoloft 50mg for several months. Now I would like to stop taking this medicine. I know that you should contact your doctor. But please let me know. Can I go down from the whole tablet to 3/4 and how long to be on this dose to go down to half and then to 1/4 if so. I would not like to stop in this way that the whole tablet goes down to half a tablet because when increasing the dose I had headaches and I am afraid that when reducing yez may occur.
