Good morning, I have been taking Vines tablets for 3 years. I accept them at 10 o'clock, sometimes I happen to accept them with a delay, but not more than 2/3h. Taking the pills, he uses additional protection in the form of a condom. I have never missed a tablet. I wash down tablets, tea or juice. Yesterday, being on the 18th pill, the condom broke and I would like to know what is the chance of getting pregnant?

And what if two days after intercourse I was given an antibiotic for cystitis? Will Vines stop working and I can get pregnant? I remind you that the condom broke, so the boy ended up in me...

If you do not drink the tablets with grapefruit juice, their effect is preserved and the risk of pregnancy is negligible (with properly used tablets, the chance of pregnancy is 1%). So you were protected and there is no reason to worry and there is no need to take any additional steps. Please continue using the tablets as before - it would be advisable to drink the medicines with water instead of tea or juice (especially citrus juice).
