Hello. If mild ventricular arrhythmia and trace military valve regurgitation are diagnosed, can I start taking monosyntactic hormonal contraception with dessette mono tablets? Sandra, 31 years old. Best regards

Contraindications to the use of Dessette mono tablets include, m.in.: - allergy to the components of the preparation, - occurring thrombosis, - active or past jaundice or severe liver disease, - sex hormone-dependent cancer, - bleeding from the genital tract of unknown cause. Benign ventricular arrhythmia and mitral regurgitation are not mentioned as absolute contraindications for Dessette mono. I enclose a link to check the availability of Dessette mono and to make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/23079/dessette-mono-tabletki-powlekane/apteki The decision to use hormonal contraception should be made after consulting a doctor. I encourage you to inform your doctor about concomitant diseases and medications used, which will allow you to recommend appropriate preparations. If you do not have the possibility of a stationary visit, I encourage you to use teleadvice via, for example, the portal Gdziepolek.pl: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem
