Good morning, I have a question about the effectiveness of gynecological probiotics. Well, I bought a vaginal probiotic InVag with a short expiration date, it reaches the end of August, so theoretically the expiration date of the probiotic lasts another month. Here my question arises, is this really the case and whether these lactic acid bacteria simply have not disappeared and whether the probiotic will definitely fulfill its functions of rebuilding the bacterial flora? Please reply, because it worries me

Properly stored (m.in. at the right temperature) drugs should retain all their properties until the end of the expiration date declared by the manufacturer: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przechowywac-leki For safety, I will point out that InVag vaginal capsules are applied to the vagina, they are not taken orally. The term indicated on the packaging therefore refers to use, not "consumption". I enclose additional information about InVag, over-the-counter preparations can be purchased directly at GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/38124/invag-kapsulki-dopochwowe/apteki I also enclose an article that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/infekcje-intymne-jak-sobie-poradzic https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/probiotyki-ginekologiczne
