Vicks Antigrip Max and Cirrus Duo should not be used concomitantly. The pseudoephedrine contained in Cirrus Duo in combination with the phenylephrine hydrochloride contained in Vicks Antigrip Max may lead to excessive increases in blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmias in the form of tachycardia. In addition, both of these substances are classified as decongestants - their simultaneous use may lead to excessive nasal constriction and related side effects. Choose one of these medications depending on your symptoms. Cirrus is recommended for allergic rhinitis accompanied by watery discharge, nasal itching and nasal swelling characterised by nasal congestion. Vicks Antigrip Max is used to treat colds and flu symptomatically, with fever, pain (e.g. headache, throat, muscles and paranasal sinuses) and swelling of the nasal mucosa. It is also worth paying attention to the composition of the nasal drops used, in the case of taking oral nasal decongestants, the use of nasal drops containing oxymetazoline or xylometazoline may not be necessary.
