Rasagiline, Dutilox and Ketilept retard can be used together if medicines have been prescribed by a doctor who has been informed of all the preparations you are taking. When using rasagiline and duloxetine (the active substance in Dutilox) concomitantly, the risk of serotonin syndrome manifested by, m.in, agitation, confusion, fever, muscle tremors increases. If you notice any of these symptoms, tell your doctor. Clinical studies conducted on a group of 141 people showed that patients treated with rasagiline and SNRIs (Dutilox) did not develop serotonin syndrome. It is worth remembering that during multidrug therapy it is not always possible to avoid the appearance of potential interactions. Therefore, it is worth knowing the disturbing symptoms and in the event of their occurrence, report to the doctor.
