Can muscle pain be caused by Grofibrat S and Suvardio?

For 3 weeks I have been taking Geofibrat S in the morning and Suvardio in the evening . For two days my leg muscles started to hurt, practically all my legs, despite the fact that at the weekend I had limited physical activity. The pain is like I have the flu or after exercise. I have no infection. The pain is quite strong, in addition, I feel that the muscles of my hands are also starting to hurt. Could it be muscle pain caused by medication?

Both Grofibrate and Suvardio can cause muscle aches, myositis and general weakness (these are quite common side effects). Your description indicates the need for consultation and - probably - a change in treatment. In case of exacerbation of symptoms, you can use the teleadvice available on our website in the e-visit tab: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow
