No, the symptoms you mentioned are not grounds for stopping Asentra and should not be used on your own, as this may put you at risk of withdrawal symptoms (m.in dizziness, numbness, sleep disturbances, agitation, anxiety, muscle tremors, nausea, vomiting). According to the summary of product characteristics: "the dose should be gradually reduced over at least one to two weeks before discontinuation of Asentra" and this decision should be made by the daughter's doctor. Asentra, like all medicines, can cause side effects, but not everybody gets them. The symptoms you mentioned may be related to the administration of the drug. According to the characteristics of the drug Asentra, among the side effects, upper respiratory tract infections, pharyngitis, rhinitis, skin rash, malaise or fever m.in are listed as common as common ones. However, the severity and frequency of some adverse reactions to sertraline (the substance m.in contained in Asentra) may be reduced with further treatment and usually do not require discontinuation. Please report the symptoms you describe to your doctor, who on this basis will make an appropriate decision regarding further therapeutic treatment. Please note that side effects of medicines should be reported to your doctor or individually. This allows you to gather more information on the safety of medicinal products and update data about them.
