Good evening, For many years I have been using Depralin 10mg (2 tabl. in the morning) with good effect. Currently, during the prescription, I asked about a replacement (Depralin has become significantly more expensive, and the fee for it is 100%). The pharmacist suggested a much cheaper Escitalopram. Can I therefore expect worse performance of this replacement? I greet and thank you in advance for your professional answer

Escitalopram and Depralin are their substitutes - they contain the same substance in the same dosage. Its antidepressant effect will be identical to the product you originally written. It does not matter that Escitalopram is a cheaper product, it does not affect its operation and quality, there is no reason to worry. At the following link you can check the availability of Escitalopram in pharmacies in the Polish cooperating with our system: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27586/escitalopram-actavis-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/depresja
