Can I use Clatre 20mg twice a day?
Hi I have urticaria for several years I take Telfexo 180. Today the doctor prescribed me Clatra 20 mg. I have to take 1 am and 1 pm. The dose on the leaflet is 1 per day.. I have a dilemma not wim what to do.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, Clatre 20mg should be taken 1 time per day. However, in the treatment of chronic urticaria, much higher doses of antihistamines are used than those recommended by the manufacturer. Studies show that the use of bilastin (the active substance Clatra) at doses higher than standard was significantly more effective in the treatment of chronic urticaria. If your doctor has recommended the use of Clatra 2x1, please follow the instructions and report them to your doctor if you experience side effects.
