I stopped taking Ospamox, can I start giving the drug again after two days?

A 2.5-year-old son got Ospamox for hoarseness. After three days of zero improvement, he lost his appetite. I put it away, but today the hoarseness is still there - after two days of weaning. Can I resume this antibiotic?

To reuse the antibiotic, contact your doctor. Discontinuation of antibiotic therapy may result in undertreatment of the infection and the introduction of a new dosage. If Ospamox is now given again, it is possible that the amount of antibiotic left will not provide the length of treatment originally ordered and the infection will not be cured.
