Were all medications prescribed by the same doctor? As a rule, the preparations you take contain metformin and levothyroxine. Levothyroxine reduces the antidiabetic effect of metformin and therefore increased blood glucose levels may occur. If medicines have been prescribed by different doctors, a consultation is indicated to determine whether these medicines can be used concomitantly and, if so, whether it is necessary to change the dosage recommendations. If both medicines have been prescribed by the same doctor, please follow the dosing schedule and monitor glycaemia regularly.
