When will the tinnitus caused by otitis pass after the end of antibiotic therapy?

How long after otitis can tinnitus persist? The antibiotic klacid was appropriate. After 6 days of taking the antibiotic, there is still hearing loss in one ear. Does it take time and will it pass by itself?

Ear drops with an antibiotic and a steroid helped me, then the steroid itself to spray and it's ok, it took some time, but it was worth the treatment

If tinnitus persists despite the use of an antibiotic, it is worth consulting an ENT specialist again. Perhaps the infection has not been cured to the end and it will be indicated, for example, to use prescription steroid drugs. These drugs have strong anti-inflammatory properties and are also used to relieve complications of middle ear infections. Symptoms should not be underestimated, as an untreated infection may result in permanent deterioration of hearing. I'm afraid tinnitus may not go away on its own. Therefore, as I mentioned, it is necessary to consult a specialist again.
