Should I start taking birth control pills immediately after I finish taking Lutein?

Hello, I have a problem, you see I am late for about a month, the doctor prescribed me lutein for 10 days, and then birth control pills. My question is, after 10 days of using lutein, if the period does not appear, should I start taking birth control pills immediately or should I wait for my period and only then the pills?

After stopping the use of Lutein, you should wait for the first day of menstrual bleeding and only from that day start using birth control pills. Unless the doctor has recommended otherwise.
