The infection itself does not reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. It may be affected by your treatment (especially some oral medicines). I send a link to a page where you can arrange an online teleconsultation with a doctor - including a gynecologist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I encourage you to read the articles: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/infekcje-intymne-jak-sobie-poradzic https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji

I had a pap smear test and it turned out that I have inflammation in the vagina and the presence of bacteria was detected, will this affect the effectiveness of the NuvaRing contraceptive ring? Its effectiveness will decrease because of this ?

To @Mabebebb:

No, sexually transmitted diseases do not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant – it is still effective in preventing pregnancy.

However, it is important to remember that the implant does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, so it is important to use additional protection, such as a condom.

If you have serious infections or need to use certain medications (e.g. antiretrovirals or certain antibiotics), it is worth consulting a doctor to make sure that the implant is working properly.

If I put on the implanon NXT contraceptive implant and I catch some sexually transmitted disease while having oral intercourse, it will affect the effectiveness of the implanon NXT contraceptive implant if I have already put it on ?
