Can the lack of menstruation be caused by stopping pills or maybe the stress I am experiencing now?
Hello 26.02 I made love to my boyfriend. We secured ourselves with a condom and the boy did not come. 12.03I should get my period and I'm already 8 days late. Is it possible to get pregnant? I would add that half a year ago I stopped taking anti tablets from day to day, after which apparently there may be an irregular period. So far so good. Could it be due to stopping pills or maybe the stress I'm experiencing now?

If intercourse was secured with a condom that did not break or slip, then the risk of pregnancy is small. You can simply take a pregnancy test to see if pregnancy is the cause. After discontinuation of contraceptive pills, the cycles may indeed be irregular for some time, but this is generally visible in the first cycles after the end of the method. If everything has been fine so far, it is unlikely that the current delay in bleeding was caused by stopping birth control pills six months ago. Sometimes stress can contribute to menstrual disorders.
