Cradle cap is one of the most common scalp problems in infants and children. Yellow, oily scales on the scalp require proper care with emollient, moisturizing and sometimes slightly exfoliating products containing urea. Cradle cap cannot be prevented, however, avoiding overheating of the baby can help normalize the work of the sebaceous glands and relieve symptoms.
