Hello, I am giving myself anticoagulant injections in my abdomen. After removing the needle from the fold of the abdomen, blood appears and a little blood in the syringe. Should I worry about this, is it normal and there is no reason to worry? First, the place before administering the drug is wiped with soaked gauze.

Minor bleeding at the injection site is not a cause for concern. In the case of disposable syringes, with which anticoagulants are usually administered, it is not dangerous to "draw" blood inside the syringe. In the case of reusable preparations, getting blood inside the syringe means that the medicine should not be reused and should be disposed of. Below I enclose a link to an example leaflet of an anticoagulant in the form of a pre-filled syringe - on pages 5 and 6 you will find detailed instructions on how to self-administer the drug with pictures. I recommend that you look at the instructions to make sure that you are doing everything correctly: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/18521/clexane-iniekcja/ulotka/69849 You can read more about anticoagulants in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/przewodnik-po-lekach-przeciwzakrzepowych
