If the use of Contrahist (a third-generation antihistamine) alone is insufficient, the doctor may decide to add another antihistamine, e.g. Clemastinum (a first-generation antihistamine). Usually, however, to alleviate allergy symptoms, it is enough to use one antihistamine in the right dose. It should be borne in mind that combining these drugs increases the risk of symptoms such as excessive sleepiness or impaired concentration. If you observe such side effects, it is worth consulting a doctor, you may need to change the dosage of drugs.
