Can Nicorette patches be combined with an aerosol?

Hello, I have not smoked for 3 months, of course I use the help of nicorett patches, but sometimes there is a desire to smoke, or maybe the reflex just to puff on a cigarette?! I would like to ask if it is possible to combine nicorett patches with a nicorett inhaler?. Thank you for your reply. Anna

Yes, it is allowed to use Nicorette aerosol when applying the patches. The goal of nicotine replacement therapy is to reduce the symptoms associated with nicotine withdrawal and to reduce the motivation to smoke. The use of nicotine patches is aimed at gradually reducing the dose of nicotine delivered to the body. If you suspect that the urge to smoke a cigarette is not related to nicotine craving, but a habit / reflex or the desire to "occupy your hands with something", there are methods such as seizure, replacing a cigarette, e.g. with an anti-stress ball or chewing gum. If nicotine patches are not an effective enough method of quitting, you can consider other treatment options, which we wrote about here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/rzucanie-palenia. Wherein you can compare the prices of Nicorrete products and book them at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/53261/nicorette-spray-aerozol/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/53256/nicorette-invisipatch-system-transdermalny/apteki
