The use of furazidine (Furagina) in patients with a urological catheter is not contraindicated. However, I have no knowledge of the reasons why the catheter was inserted. It cannot be ruled out that, due to the current state of health, the treatment of any urinary tract infection should be carried out under medical supervision. In adults, 100 mg of furazidine is used 3 times a day for 7-10 days.
