Should I stop taking Ketrel if the symptoms of insomnia have worsened and nightmares appear?

For four days I have been taking lamotrix 25 mg one tablet at a time and one tablet for the evening ketrel 25 mg. At night, so far, although I had problems with sleep, they were not so intense. Nightmares happened once in a while, and since the first dose of medication, I've had them three nights in a row, and I wake up every now and then and I feel awake, not sleeping. Should I stop taking ketrel now? I have a visit to a psychiatrist in 3 weeks.

The symptoms you mention are typical when starting therapy with drugs such as Lamotrix or Ketrel. They usually pass during the first two weeks of treatment. Because these are prescription medications, you should not stop them without consulting your doctor. If symptoms make daily functioning difficult, it may be necessary to speed up the visit to the doctor or contact the family doctor.
