Do I have a chance to get a refund for Trulicity?
Hi, I am an obese person, I have 156 kg of weight and 176 height. For a period of 4 months I took trulicyte, the weight dropped to 134 kg, but I stopped taking and again the mass arrived, I take drugs such as Co-Valsacor 80 mgr and Glucophage 100 mg, for more than a year I have been going to the diabetologist . The price of Trulicyt exceeded me, do I have a chance for co-financing?

Trulicity is reimbursed only for people diagnosed with type 2 diabetes who are treated with at least two hypoglycemic drugs, with HbA1c ≥ 7.5%, with obesity defined as a BMI of ≥30 kg / m2 and very high cardiovascular risk understood as: 1) confirmed cardiovascular disease, or 2) damage to other organs manifested by: proteinuria or left ventricular hypertrophy or retinopathy, or 3)the presence of 2 or more of the main risk factors listed below: -age ≥ 55 years for men, ≥60 years for women, -dyslipidaemia, -hypertension, -smoking. The patient must simultaneously meet criteria 1, 2 and 3. Therefore, I am not able to answer your question - whether you meet these conditions is determined by the doctor based on your medical history and test results.
