Drugs such as Roswera help reduce the concentration of so-called bad cholesterol (LDL cholesterol) in the blood, responsible for the development of atherosclerosis. Under the influence of the drug, the liver produces less cholesterol and captures "bad cholesterol" from the blood. What increases the risk of atherosclerosis? Smoking, improper nutrition (a lot of processed foods, animal fats, lack of vegetables in the diet, low physical activity, increased blood pressure, increased LDL plasma cholesterol, increased plasma triglycerides, decreased plasma HDL cholesterol, prediabetes or diabetes, overweight or obesity.
