These are not equivalents. They have similar but NOT IDENTICAL effects. Which means that they also differ in the possible side effects that patients have experienced. Both drugs have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, but their mechanism of action on the body differs. Rantudil forte contains the active substance "Acemetacin" and Roticox contains "Etoricoxib". The drugs belong to the same group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Replacing drugs, however, is most advisable if you feel unwell after one of them. If your doctor has recommended a change of medication, please follow his recommendations. Please do not use them at the same time. Both drugs belong to the same degree of the analgesic ladder: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-przeciwbolowe-stosowac Studies have shown that in patients exposed to gastrointestinal diseases, an agent containing etoricoxib, which selectively blocks COX-2, such as Roticox, was a better choice. So if the ailments you are talking about were related to the gastrointestinal tract, this change is justified. It is impossible to clearly choose which of the drugs will be better - it depends on many aspects. Due to the fact that both preparations are issued with a prescription of a doctor who has competence in the treatment of pain and the selection of analgesics, he can decide which measure would be a better choice in your case.
