Is it worth using a tablet after? I have doubts because I have lactose intolerance.

Hello, recently my boyfriend and I petted each other. There was no ejaculation and I had my period at that moment (last days, I had a tampon). Is it worth using a tablet after ? Because I have a complete lactose intolerance and that's what stops me from doing so.

If you consider that the activities did not involve the risk of transferring your partner's secretions (it does not have to be sperm) into the vagina, then in my opinion this is a situation in which there is a very small risk of an unplanned pregnancy and it may not be necessary to use emergency contraception. However, it is worth consulting a doctor who, after an interview and conversation with you, decides that it is better to use contraception, because the lack of ejaculation and the period do not mean the lack of possibility of fertilization. Lactose intolerance is not a contraindication to the use of the tablet. The amount of lactose is small and the tablet is taken once, so it does not have to cause persistent symptoms.
