Hello, I finished a course of medication for Helicobacter pyroli, I am currently taking tardyferon fol because of the low ferritin result. In a month I have to repeat the test for Helicobacter from feces, should I then stop tardyferon fol for some time or can I calmly take it during the collection of feces for the test? Thank you for your reply.

The Helicobacter test in the stool is a simple, painless test to detect H. pylori infection. It diagnoses whether there is an antigen in the sample, i.e. a substance that produces antibodies to bacteria. The examination does not require special preparation, i.e. the Tardyferon taken will not affect the result.
