Can glycerin, which is a component of lubricants and intimate gels, cause fungal infections? It is often even contained in water-based preparations. I read that it can settle and it is difficult to wash out, which causes candidiasis, how true is it?

I enclose an answer to a very similar question: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/74372/feminum-czy-gliceryna-ktora-znajduje-sie-w-skladzie-zelu-intymnego-feminum-moze-przyczynic-sie-do-p In addition to the above: from a pharmaceutical point of view, glycerin dissolves very well in water, so it is difficult for me to refer to the statement that it would "not wash out". Such difficulties can rather be caused by products with silicone content.
