Will budesonide help me with labyrinthitis?

Hello, I'm after a visit to the family doctor, it turned out that I have labyrinthitis and I got steroids called Budesonide, will it help me with this condition??? I will add that I am after the flu and this sick labyrinth is a complication and I am surprised that I got steroids intended for the treatment of asthma or lung infections
