Is 3 x 8 ml of Amotaks 500 mg/5 ml suitable for a 30 kg baby?
My son is 6 years old and 30 kg, the doctor prescribed him a dose of Amotaks 500mg / 5ml (100ml bottle) 3x8ml. Isn't that too much of a dose?

A dose of 3 x 8 ml of Amotaks 500 mg/5 ml is suitable for a child weighing 30 kg. Up to 90 mg of antibiotic per kg of body weight can be administered, in this case up to 27 milliliters of suspension per day.
