This means that trained personnel must administer in safe conditions - the use of cytotoxic drug solutions requires special precautions to ensure the safety of the preparer and his environment. In addition, oxaliplatin is available free of charge in hospitals providing chemotherapy treatment in Poland, which means that patients do not buy it in a pharmacy, but it is administered to them in a clinic. Public pharmacies do not bring this drug to the state. However, please ask at the pharmacy about the possibility of ordering - there may be a product available that can be dispensed on prescription to an individual patient.
