As a long-term effect, administering vitamin D once a month in a higher dose and every day in a smaller dose is actually just as effective. This was shown by a good quality clinical trial: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6024703/ The authors of the above study confirm, however, that faster normalization of vitamin D3 levels is achieved by using a high dose of vitamin D3 once a month. Based on the results of the above study, it can be concluded that with a significant deficiency of vitamin D3 and the need for quick supplementation, it is better to use a large dose of vitamin at one time. However, please remember that taking high daily doses of vitamin D3 should be justified by the laboratory test results used and their medical interpretation. Online medical consultation can also be arranged via GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/ I enclose sample vitamin D3 preparations that are registered as over-the-counter medicines. You can book them at the pharmacy of your choice or order them with home delivery: - Ibuvit D3: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/105589/ibuvit-d3-4000-iu-kapsulki/apteki - Vigantoletten 1000: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92290/vigantoletten-1000-tabletki/apteki - Vigalex Forte: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/105739/vigalex-forte-tabletki/apteki
