What to choose for pinworms - Pyrantelum or Vermox?
Hello, My daughter has pinworms (visible). After the symptoms of other people in the family, we probably all have them. I wonder which drug to use: pyrantelum, vermox. In the UK, vermox is not on prescription. In the leaflet about pyrantelum I found information that you should be careful in case of anemia .... The son is to have a blood test in 10 days... In that case, can I give Vermox now or are there the same precautions and I should wait for the results of the blood test. Which drug is safer? Thank you
