What should I do if I think the leaflet of Apo-Napro is misleading?

APO-NAPRO 250 mg. On the Internet you can read that this drug can not be combined with alcohol. However, when I read the manufacturer's leaflet at the point; Apo-Napro with food, drink and alcohol stands written; Simultaneous use of the drug with food and drink does not affect its effect. Not a word about alcohol in the whole big leaflet, but a million warnings of a different kind. So what is it like? Are the descriptions in the leaflets unreliable, misleading and endangering health?

Drug descriptions included in the drug leaflets have been approved by the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. If you believe that the leaflet is unreliable and misleading, I encourage you to report it to the responsible entity. The contact details of the marketing authorisation holder are available in the package leaflet of the medicine. If contact with the marketing authorisation holder is not possible, it is recommended to contact the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. The procedure for reporting an error in the leaflet is similar to the procedure for reporting adverse drug reactions. I encourage you to read our study on how to report side effects of drugs: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane Apo-Napro should not be used together with alcoholic products due to the increased risk of side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/6067/apo-napro-tabletki/apteki I encourage you to read our article, about whether you can combine drugs with alcohol: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-z-alkoholem

I do not think the leaflet is misleading. I just ask - How is it that you can read on your website that this drug can not be combined with alcohol and the manufacturer does not see contraindications. I will reverse so your answer - if you think and write on your pages that it can not be combined with alcohol, then you as a person professionally related to the subject should report an error. Indeed, it should be your duty as pharmacists.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
