Good morning, Is it normal for small air bubbles to appear in the ampoule with Saxenda? Could it be because the button is released at the wrong time? I note that I do it according to what I saw in the instructional video, i.e. after removing the needle from the body. Should these bubbles be disposed of as they do with a regular syringe? I greet and thank you in advance for your answer.

Self-handling of the pen does not require the removal of air bubbles, and their presence is theoretically not a contraindication to the administration of the drug. You can try to remove them, but this is not clearly recommended by the manufacturer as a necessary action. I suspect that at the time of administration, the bubbles will move to the opposite part of the pen, so the dose will be given correctly. The injection button should be held down until the dose counter shows 0. You can then hear or feel a click. Do not use the drug if it has changed its consistency, has become dull, some sediment has formed inside or, for example, the pen is cracked. By the way, I remind you to change the needles in the pen regularly. Needles can be ordered without a prescription online using GdziePoLek with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery.
