Is it possible to get vaccinated against Covid-19 while using Posterisan H suppositories?

Dear Sir/Madam, The doctor prescribed me suppositories Posterisan H, which I will finish using soon. Soon after, I plan to get a fourth dose against COVID-19. Should I wait some time between stopping suppositories and receiving the vaccine? After all, these suppositories contain a steroid. Will it not weaken the body's response to vaccination? Thank you for your reply!

The component of Posteridan H suppositories is, m.in. hydrocortisone. After topical administration, the absorption of hydrocortisone through the rectal mucosa is significantly greater than through normal skin. However, after administration of therapeutic doses, the concomitant increase in blood concentration is short-lived, with maximum levels reaching the lower limit of the physiological range. There are no systemic side effects and it has no effect on hormonal regulation. Taking into account the above information, the use of Posterisa H suppositories does not affect the overall functioning of the body, it should not be a contraindication to the Covid-19 vaccine. Please inform the person qualifying and performing the vaccination about all the preparations used, he will decide whether the vaccination can be done or whether a time interval should be kept after the use of suppositories containing hydrocortisone.
