Can I inhale Aspulmo instead of Fostex before visiting a pulmonologist?

Good morning. I have been asthmatic for 10 years. I have run out of FOSTEX 100+6, can I inhale ASPULMO 100 temporarily prescribed by this doctor before visiting a pulmonologist? Best regards.

Aspulmo cannot replace permanent treatment with Fostex - as you yourself noted, it was prescribed only as an additional drug, for emergency use in case of increased dyspnoea. Aspulmo is a single-component drug, it does not contain an anti-inflammatory component, therefore it can not control the disease as the drug Fostex does. Using Aspulmo alone could lead to worsening of asthma symptoms, especially if the time left before visiting a pulmonologist is not close. If you have run out of preparation and you do not have enough, it is best to go to your family doctor for a prescription for the continuation of therapy. Prescription drugs can be booked through WherePoLek and picked up stationary upon presentation of the prescription. You can also ask the pharmacy for a pharmaceutical prescription. However, the drug is 100% expensive, and the pharmacist cannot issue a pharmacy discount prescription for the patient: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92140/fostex-aerozol/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/kiedy-farmaceuta-moze-wypisac-recepte I also enclose our article on asthma, perhaps it will be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-zyc-aktywnie-z-astma
