In my opinion, during treatment with Quetaplex, large amounts and frequent alcohol consumption should be avoided. In the Summary of Product Characteristics there is the following provision - In connection with the effect of quetiapine mainly on the central nervous system, caution should be exercised when using quetiapine in combination with other drugs acting on the central nervous system, as well as alcohol.
