Can a protective ointment with vitamin A harm me?

I have very dry skin and use this ointment instead of face cream. Is it possible to overdo it with too much use of this ointment in this way? Can this have any negative consequences? I am not pregnant and do not plan to be.

In principle, no. Ointment well moisturizes dry skin, should not adversely affect the condition of the skin. In some people, however, it can be clogged, so if you notice a slight deterioration of the skin, the occurrence of pimples or excessive oiliness - please use smaller amounts of ointment on the face or refrain from applying it to the skin for some time.
