Is midcyclic spotting when using Ginoring normal?
Good morning, I have been using the ginoring disc for about half a year, I have just noticed spotting 4 days before the date of removing the disc. I had spotting before the date of removal somehow in the first 2-3 months of use. Then no more, and suddenly now there was spotting. I did a sensitive pregnancy test (in the afternoon) and it was negative. Are these symptoms normal when using this contraception? Best regards

Spotting and mid-cycle bleeding are a common side effect when using hormonal contraception (also in the form of discs), especially in the first months of use (as was the case with you at the beginning). Perhaps the spotting in the last cycle was related to the use of this form of contraception itself, but to exclude other causes, it is best to go for a follow-up visit to the gynecologist.
