What dose of pregabalin will be appropriate for the treatment of anxiety disorders?

Good morning. I have been prescribed Pregabalin Strada for anxiety disorders. On the Internet I saw that it works best for anxiety from 200mg, I have a dose of 50mgx2. So I wonder if it is not too small, or if it depends on the type of Pregabalin? Best regards

Pregabalin belongs to such a group of drugs, where treatment always begins with a lower dose. Then, depending on the individual reaction of the patient, the dose can be gradually increased. Such a decision is always made by the attending physician based on the clinical condition of the patient. The situation is similar when discontinuing the drug. We do this by gradually reducing the dose, not by discontinuing the drug overnight. The doses of pregabalin used to treat generalized anxiety disorders are usually between 150 mg - 600 mg per day. Sometimes we achieve the desired effect using lower doses, which means that there is no need to increase the dose. I would like to point out that increasing the dose may also lead to an increased risk of side effects. The chemical pregabalin is one. Drugs available on the market differ in the content of this chemical in one tablet.
