This does not seem possible and such an interaction has not been described. Ointment is applied to the skin, externally. The implant releases hormones directly into the blood. Bacitracin and polymyxin B are practically not absorbed by topical administration through both undamaged and damaged skin. Neomycin is not absorbed through undamaged skin. Topically applied is easily absorbed through damaged skin - the amount applied around the nails is probably very small.
