Ezen and Lipanthyl are prescription drugs. If the prescribing physician has been informed about all the medicines used, they can be taken together. Caution should be exercised when using both medicines together. The concomitant use of ezetimib (the active substance of Ezen) and fenofibrate (the active substance of Lipantyhyl) carries a risk of cholelithiasis and gallbladder diseases. If patients taking Ezen and Lipanthyl are suspected of developing cholelithiasis, gallbladder tests are indicated.
