Hi I take the antibiotic augumentin 3 days ( I have severe purulent angina) after antibiotic zero improvement. A friend always gets clindamycin 600 from the doctor and says that the next day the pain does not feel so strong ... maybe it is worth changing the antibiotic?

Augmentin is a drug indicated for the use of bacterial infections in children and adults, if it was prescribed by a doctor, then certainly the specialist knew what he was doing. Please choose an antibiotic until the end before you draw hasty conclusions about the fact that the drug does not work. Please also do not suggest that your friend gets a different antibiotic - she may suffer from another disease entity, and in addition, her body may respond differently to treatment, please remember that each organism is different and everyone serves something different. Please do not change the treatment on your own, only after finishing the antibiotic and after possible lack of improvement, go to the doctor again and then consider another type of treatment. Suggesting treatment suggested for other family members or friends is not a good idea.
