Are there any drugs for uterine fibroids besides Esmya?

Good morning Are there currently new drugs available for uterine fibroids that would cause a reduction in fibroids. Such a drug was Esmya, unfortunately, in Poland you can not buy it. Apparently, research on azoprisnil, which showed high effectiveness in reducing fibroids, was also ongoing. Is anything known when azoprisnil will be available in Poland or in the world? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Yselty contains linzagolix - it is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of uterine fibroids in adult women of childbearing potential. The administration of this drug has an effect on the hormonal axis and leads to a decrease in the concentration of estradiol and progesterone in the blood. By lowering the level of these hormones, the preparation stops or reduces menstrual bleeding, and also relieves other ailments associated with fibroids. Studies on the effectiveness of Yselty have assessed, among other things, blood loss during menstruation. Some patients received this medicine in combination with ABT (hormones - estradiol 1 mg and norethisterone acetate 0.5 mg). With Yselty 100 mg treatment, the maximum effect was achieved in reducing blood loss during menstruation by approximately 60% by 4 weeks. When treated with Yselty 100 mg plus ABT or 200 mg with or without ABT, the maximum effect of reducing blood loss during menstruation by approximately 80 to 95% by 8 weeks was achieved. Benefits have also been observed in the form of reduced pain or increased hemoglobin. At 24 weeks, there was a clear and steady decrease in uterine volume and uterine fibroids only in the Yselty 200 mg group without ABT. At the same time, with the use of a dose of 200 mg, restrictions are associated - the drug can be used once a day for up to 6 months in situations where it is desirable to reduce the volume of the uterus and uterine fibroids. However, after discontinuation of treatment, the size of fibroids may increase. The use of linzagolix alone carries the risk of reducing bone mineral density, therefore, with a longer course of treatment, a dose of 200 mg should not be used without concomitant ABT therapy. Yselty is a drug approved under the so-called "central procedure" in June 2022 - the manufacturer has applied for permission to sell throughout the European Union, but this does not mean that it intends to introduce the drug to every market right away. As for azoprisnil, to the best of my knowledge, research on this compound is ongoing and it has shown significant effectiveness in reducing fibroids, but the drug is not available for sale and it is not known whether it will be in the future.

Thank you. Unfortunately, this is not odp. to my question. I asked about new drugs to reduce uterine fibroids. Ryeqo is not a medicine that reduces, but only relieves the symptoms of fibroids. What about azoprisnil? Apparently, a month ago the drug Yselty was approved in Poland? Can you write something more about the above mentioned products.
