Isoflavones contained in Kudzu can prolong the metabolism of alcohol, which consequently leads to an increase in the number of days of sobriety in an addicted person. Potentially, Kudzu can also improve physical performance during exercise, lower glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, improve kidney function, reduce blood pressure and contribute to weight reduction in obese people. Due to the fact that Kudzu can reduce blood glucose, patients taking antidiabetic drugs (here: Metformax) should be careful. If you think that the use of a specific dietary supplement is necessary for you, I encourage you to consult your doctor. Perhaps he will decide to modify the current treatment regimen. The use of any new preparation, including the one available without a prescription, should be consulted with the attending physician.
