When to perform a prolactin level test?
Hello! On what day of the menstrual cycle to do a prolactin test? So far, I have been examining at the beginning on about the 5th day of the cycle. Can they be performed in the postovulatory time and what are the correct norms at this time? Best regards

The prolactin test can be performed both in the follicular and luteal phase of the cycle. Different prolactin standards are adopted for individual stages of the cycle. Standards depend on the equipment on which the test is performed, the correct values may vary between laboratories. Information about what values are correct will be provided by the laboratory in which the test will be performed.
